MY REVIEW
Garrett doesn't do love. He gives a good time, once, then goes on his merry way. He's so adamant about being Mr No-Commitment that his reputation is widely known in his small town. Then a beauty waltzes her way into his bar (and his heart) and before he knows it, he's offering to be Grace's wingman. You see, she wants the opposite of what he has to give - commitment, the whole picket fence, definitely not Mr. Right Now. But, if his friends can see how much he feels for Grace, why can't he?
After Grace's ex treated her so badly, you'd think she'd be off men, but nope, all that did was solidify in her mind that she wants a love for the ages. So when a hot bartender charms his way into her life, she doesn't allow herself to think of him in any way but just a new friend. A new friend who seems intent on finding her that great love. Or is he? He sure isn't exactly acting like he's really trying when he sends her pictures of models in her search for a real love. He couldn't be angling to be her Mr. Right, could he?
This is how you do friends to lovers - with a sweet, sassy heroine who knocks her man off his axis and he never rights himself, a swoony golden retriever hero who's so averse to love that he doesn't recognize it until his friends stage an intervention, some of the hottest chemistry I've read in a very long time, a stellar secondary cast of friends and family, and laugh out loud humor that still has me smiling as I'm writing this review. I loved every second as these two soulmates finally gave into the love that they both deserved.
