When Ivy steps out of her comfort zone for Halloween and dons a sultry Lola persona, she meets a gorgeous, swashbuckling Indiana Jones lookalike and has the most exciting encounter of her life. Come morning, though, she's gone, knowing she'll have a memory to hold onto. She knew she'd never see him again, so why does her new neighbor look suspiciously a lot like him? And why does he not seem to recognize her? Talk about a blow to the self esteem. But then he does recognize her and suddenly their connection seems even more sizzling than it was that night. Now Ivy and Reeve are taking on her family legend, determined to find the gold everyone, especially her douchenozzle ex husband, want to find. Along the way they just may find themselves in much more than a temporary fling.

Reeve didn't know what hit him when a woman straight out of his dreams approached him on the street to give him back his whip, no, not that kind, the kind from his Halloween costume, then proceeded to enchant him in every way. When he woke up, though, she was gone, and he's never gotten Lola out of his mind. Even when his new neighbor appears before him and he doesn't recognize her, he's still thinking about Lola. But now his mind has cleared and Lola's eyes appear in Ivy's face and he's smitten all over again. Now he's in a race with her to find her great uncle's fortune, before her douchey ex does, and to convince Ivy that they're more than just some fling.

I love The Treasure Hunt Hookup. Reeve and Ivy are the cutest, hottest couple to land on my Kindle in a long time. Reeve, though he's grumpy around others, when his dream woman comes into his life, she lightens him up and suddenly he's smiling, and happy, and so in love. I don't think I could have swooned any harder than I did as I read as Ivy and Reeve fell in love.
