Review / Release Blitz: Pieces Into Place (The Men of Sierra Falls #3) by Steffanie Blais

Pieces Into Place by Steffanie Blais is now live!

This woman may be the key to my salvation, but I'd rather watch my life burn to the ground than let her get close to me.

Ex-military man Kane Hudson thought this would be an easy assignment. He just needs to ensure the feisty first-grade teacher he despises doesn't get herself killed by a notorious mobster set on revenge. The catch? He has to do it without her knowledge.

Olivia Monroe is determined to live her life on her terms. So when the cocky janitor she hates tries to interfere, she refuses to listen, until she has no choice but to accept his help.

Stuck in a cabin in the middle of the woods, their hatred shifts into an undeniable attraction that quickly becomes impossible to ignore.

Kane will protect her and allow her to keep his bed warm at night, but he will never trust his heart to someone like her.

They soon discover they are bonded by more than just their intense dislike and fiery attraction.

Kane and Olivia share a tragic secret that will either unite them or tear them apart forever.

MY REVIEW

Kane's latest assignment is either going to drive him nuts...or net him the love of his life when he's tasked with protecting Olivia from someone out for revenge against her family. Though they're more enemies than friends, there's a connection, and an intense attraction, and all their forced proximity is going to change their relationship.

Action, suspense, and love - everything a great romance needs, and Pieces Into Place has in spades. Kane is super protective, even when he's in denial and thinks he can't stand Olivia. But the way he's a big ol' softie for her - swoon! And Olivia - this woman is awesome. She's sweet, she's sassy, and had been through something horrible. Both she and Kane had, so it makes perfect sense they fall so hard for each other.

She isn't one to "stay in her lane" and prefers to write a variety of romantic subgenres. Her books include romantic thrillers, contemporary and angsty emotional reads that will have you feeling all the things, and rom-coms.

Steffanie prefers to write about characters that are relatable and flawed. As such, you won't find perfect heroes and heroines in her books, but you might find your best friend, cousin, boss, or even yourself. Steffanie believes that everyone can have the happily ever after they deserve.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
