Review / Release Blitz: Just A Kiss by J.H. Croix

JUST A KISS
J.H Croix
Release Date: January 22

A swoony billionaire romance from USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix!

Brainy brings bossy to his knees.

Jessica Slater is brilliant. When she was my intern, she was off limits and waaaay too tempting.

She’s even more delectable now and wins every battle of wits she faces. A chance encounter ignites a fire between us.

It was just a kiss. Just. It nearly brought me to my knees. She’s off limits no more, and I’m not about to let this chance slip by.

I’m accustomed to getting what I want. Except Jessica doesn’t care. She’s going to make me earn her.

Jessica & Hayes story is perfect for readers who love a grumpy hero who gets bested by a brilliant, independent heroine, slow burn, emotional romance with a dash of angst, oodles of swoon, and a billionaire protective hero who will do anything to win the woman he loves.

*A standalone novella.

MY REVIEW

Hayes hasn't seen Jessica since she left his company, but if anything, she's even more beautiful than back when she was an intern at his company. She may have been off-limits back then, but no longer. Now she's a still genius, successful CEO of her own company, and he's about to make the move he couldn't before.

I didn't read this back when it was first released, but I'm glad I got the chance to read it now in its re-released and revised edition. Hayes and Jessica are an amazing power couple. I love that he's a man who truly appreciates, and loves Jessica's brains as much as he is attracted to her physically. Their chemistry is all kinds of yummy, and the way they fell in love after being forbidden before, is sweet and just the right amount of hot, and it has two awesome cats both named Winston!

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
