MY REVIEW
Erin's finally started to feel as if she fits in, belongs in this small town she's moved to. She works at the local coffeeshop, she has new friends, and life is wonderful. Then her car decides to quit on her, so she has to take on a second job to make enough money to fix it. Her friend told her that her brother needs a nanny, and now she's off to meet him and his kids to see if she's the right fit for the job. Thank God she is - for the kids. Too bad their dad is the grumpy guy who comes into the coffeeshop every day and grunts and scowls at her. No matter, his kids alone are enough to get her through this job and make enough to fix her car, then she'll be out of Remington's hair. Except neither of them counted on their attraction or the feelings that go along with it.
Remington has a load of responsibilities on his wide shoulders, the most important of which is his children. So he knows he finally has to hire a nanny. When the gorgeous barista from his sister's coffeeshop shows up to interview, he knows he can't hire her. There's no way he can be around someone he's so attracted to and remain professional. But she makes such a wonderful impression on his kids that there's no way he can't hire her. How on earth is he going to retain his control around her? Or more importantly, how is he going to protect her when her past comes back to haunt her?
Low on angst with all the heart I've come to expect from Kristin - Wild for You is a heartfelt age gap love story. Remington's two children are adorable, serving as the bridge between Erin and Rem, given that they're the reason she's in his life, and soon, his heart. I like how protective and sweet he is with her, but ultimately, the standout is Erin. She's strong, independent and has a heart big enough to fit all the love she develops for her found family. I can't wait for all the stories and all the couples to come who will fall in love in this small town.
