MY REVIEW
Presley's blind date isn't going well. The one bright spot is the gorgeous guy she met when she first got to the stadium. Too bad her blind date wasn't with him...but then he rescues her when the kiss cam flashes on them and her date brushes her away. Now she's about to go home with the man and let herself have fun for once in her overworked life. Will they be able to extend the sizzling connection they've forged, beyond tonight? If Vance has any say, they will.
Van's been sort of floundering since he sold his app for more money than most of us will ever see. Then he finds a connection with a beautiful woman at the stadium. Too bad she's on a date with a guy who isn't even paying attention to her. Luckily, his seats are near her and he's about to take advantage of the kiss cam because her date can't be bothered. But one taste of her has him wanting more, wanting everything. Will Presley accept him and the help he can bring? Or will his tendency to take over put her off?
Challenge Accepted is the perfect novella to read on Valentine's Day. It's sweet, mildly spicy, and Vance and Presley are absolutely adorable together. I perfectly understood her aversion to his kind of help, yet I also perfectly understood why he came in and sort of took over. It all worked out in the end after she got in the right headspace, though, and I was happily cheering for them.
