Sable loves her small-town life the way it is, thank you very much. She loves her family and friends fiercely, and puts their needs above her own. So when a sharp dressed, arrogant city guy comes along and tries to bulldoze her into shaking things up by going on tour with her band, she knows she has to do it, for her band, even though she has no desire for fame, the limelight, or making it big. Along the way, though, she might just find her horizons expanded, in ways she had never before seen coming.

Kane too puts his loved ones' needs above his own. So agreeing to become his rockstar brother's manager is a given. Not necessarily what he wants to do, but then Sable happens to him. He knows he's just supposed to be convincing her to tour with his brother's band, but he wants a lot more from her than that. He'll claim his feisty country girl Panthera, even if he has to keep it quiet until the tour is over.

Arrogance meets his match and then some when Sable upends Kane Bad's world, and I loved every word! Though Kane never really lost his arrogance, he showed his well-hidden soft side to her as he was falling so hard for her, and she in turn went toe to toe with him, driving him crazy, and finally giving into the inevitable. Kane and Sable are absolute fire together - every time she snarked at him and he loved it, every time they gave into their chemistry, all just part of their falling in love fiercely. I honestly wish Melissa would write an entire series about just them, that's how much I love this couple.

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
