MY REVIEW

Preston is the good guy of his circle. He does what his parents tell him to, dates who they want him to, and plans on going into politics the way they want him to. But his heart and his mind want very different things than all this, things like his "girlfriend's" father, Archer Carrington, 20+ years his senior, definitely not in politics, and definitely not straight. He never imagined his feelings were returned, but now that he knows they are? Preston may have to decide if he can continue along the path his parents set him on.

Archer's life is turned on its side when he realizes his beloved daughter's boyfriend is not only not her boyfriend, but is in fact, not straight at all, and actually is more attracted to him than to Archer's daughter Serena. He cannot be with him, though, because not only is he 20+ years older than Preston, Preston's parents are his friends, and have certain ideas about what's proper and appropriate for their son - dating Archer, not being straight, and not going into politics are definitely not appropriate.

I love the surprise twist of who Preston really is. He picked the perfect guy for him, even if being together was "complicated." Their chemistry is seriously hot and they're actually very sweet together. About the only thing I didn't like about their story is the lack of an epilogue, but I suspect one may be coming in later installments. I don't know who's next to fall in love, but I'm crossing fingers that it's Daire.
