Review: Legacy Lost (Brothers Three Orchard #5) by Taryn Quinn

Legacy Lost (Brothers Three Orchard #5) by Taryn Quinn is LIVE NOW!

Blurb
To the world, I'm the arrogant, talented, billionaire architect and builder Kainoa N’ai.
Down deep, I'm a man who lost my father, my sister, and my homeland in one moment. I'm used to being alone and that's the way I should stay. I've learned again and again that I'm not worthy of love.

Especially hers — Belinda Grayson.

My She-Devil.

The one woman who pushes away the numbness and makes me burn. The woman I can't allow myself to have.

I can't ruin her too.

Not that it matters. She hates me thanks to one earth-shattering kiss we shared years ago. Instead of hanging onto her, I destroyed that moment too and walked away without a backwards glance.

Before she could walk away too.

Now I’m her boss and I’ll never get her out from under my skin.

I don’t want to.

The only acceptable end is her being mine…forever.

Author's note: Welcome to the fifth book in our Brothers Three Orchard series, which is set near Crescent Cove. This is a standalone novel and has a happily-ever-after with no cliffhanger.

MY REVIEW

Belinda "Bells" has been trying to avoid Kainoa "Kain" as long as she could. But the time has come and now she's stuck working with him when he insists she help him with the bachelorette party she's planned. She's not sure what she can possibly offer but she'll do her best to keep her temper (yeah right!) and her heart intact because all the close proximity isn't helping matters at all.

Kain loves the home he's found with his best friend and all the crew here at Brothers Three. When he left Hawaii all those years ago after losing everything, he found a bright spark in Bells, and had one moment with her. But he had to walk away and has regretted it ever since. Now that they're both in this small part of New York, he loves nothing more than riling her up. He in no way deserves her, but the pleasure he gets from getting under her skin is enough...or is it?

We all know that hate is just the flip side of something much more positive. Though Bells and Kain on the surface couldn't stand each other, it was really obvious there was much more than just contempt between them. They may have driven each other crazy, both purposely and without even trying, but they finally figured out how to use all those sparks for a very different way than fighting. Bells and Kain's attraction is smokin' hot, their banter is snarky and fun, and their hard fought journey to their happiness is my favorite yet in this series.

My book boyfriends go with me everywhere. I prefer them tall, dark, and handsome, but I don’t discriminate. They sweep me off my feet and are always there when I need them—in my purse, in my car, and even in my bathtub. Book boyfriends may not be real, but at least they won’t break my heart… or get another girl pregnant. I don’t do relationships. I get one whiff and run in the opposite direction. It took me seven years to mend my broken heart, and I’m not about to hand it over again. That’s why I can’t fall for Beckett. With his Clark Kent glasses and brooding stare, he’s a superhero in disguise. And his superpower? Melting panties with a single ...

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
