Blurb
The only thing Noon Waters is sure of is his undying love for his wife. But when a devastating accident ripped both her and a good deal of his memories away from him, he’s left to navigate a new life weighed down by grief, anger, and confusion.

After stumbling upon an old receipt dated one day prior to the tragic event, Noon’s curiosity leads him to Haley Cove, a place he can’t remember but is somehow certain holds the key to regaining his forgotten years.

So focused on the memories he hopes to recapture, Noon is wholly unprepared for the oddly familiar stranger he finds there instead. As a tentative friendship blooms, Noon’s reasons for being in the quaint town become less clear. What starts as a quest for answers ends with a revelation that’s too painful to bear.

What happens when the beautiful life you thought you had lived was a lie, but that lie is all you can remember?

MY REVIEW

Noon lost not just his wife but his memory, so he's drawn to somewhere that he thinks may help him regain his memories. Little did he know he'd meet the real love of his life, and be rocked with revelations that throw what he thought he knew into doubt.

Solace has been adrift since Noon left. And now he's back. But he doesn't even recognize Solace. Perhaps they can find their way back to each other, even if Noon never regains all or any of his memories, because soulmates recognize each other. But re-learning each other, and keeping and revealing secrets, won't be easy for this couple.

"My heart had fought its way back to him, not even allowing me to stand in its way. My heart had claimed him. My heart knew him. And my heart always would."

This is such a heartbreaking, slow burn, second chance love story. I wanted to give both of them huge hugs. I can't say either had it worse than the other, but both were the victims of painful betrayals, that it made sense they were drawn to each other. I love how they came back together, slowly falling back in love, even though Noon really didn't remember the way Solace did. The important thing is that in the present, they're finally happy, deservedly so, after every horrible thing they had gone through before. I can't tell you how much I love these two, can't think of the last time I thought a second chance was so deserved!

When not writing, C.P. Harris can be found reading about the flawed, possessive characters often reflected in her own work. She prefers her love stories a tad complicated, with a happily ever after well worth the struggle it took to get there. If possessive, steamy, messy love is your jam, C.P. may be the author for you.

Cover Reveal: A Little Luck by Tia Louise

Tia Louise has revealed the covers for A Little Luck! Releasing December 14, 2023 Adam Stone is not a saint. He’s six-foot-two, naughty blue eyes, cocky grin, and a bod blessed by the gods. He’s a surfer, a soldier, a pilot, and he’s been my friend since I moved to our small town when we were just kids. But another man took my hand. He took my innocence, took my trust, and broke my heart. I was young. I didn’t know love could be a weapon. I didn’t know the hand that caressed you could also cut you. Now that man is dead, and I’m a single-mom survivor wearing a mask so perfect, no one knows the truth. Trust doesn’t come easy, and surviving is a hard habit to break. But when a plumbing disaster leaves me homeless, one night in Adam Stone’s (supposedly) empty bed changes everything. I’ve hidden my scars so long, I don’t know how else to be, but I want to try. I’m in love with Adam Stone. I love every glance, every wink, every furtive touch… He says he’s different. He sa
