Blurb
A brooding billionaire. A beautiful young nurse. Obsessive love.

I’m spending the summer working as a private nurse for a wealthy patient. Until a chance encounter with wealthy Lucien Winter changes everything.

He’s an experienced man who uses women as his playthings.

I know better than to trust him.

Except he keeps showing up. On the plane…on the cruise…in my thoughts.

Our chemistry burns hot and fierce, but I have to resist him.

A man like that belongs to a world of opulence and indulgence. A man who has a past that’s haunting him. No matter how hard I fall for him.

FILTHY RICH is a billionaire, age-gap romance with a possessive hero and a strong young heroine. It’s book one in the brand-new Winter Trilogy. For fans of REBECCA.

MY REVIEW

Tamsyn was warned by her boss Mrs. Hooper that the broody billionaire, Lucien, is trouble, and far, far out of Tamsyn's league. But Tamsyn is drawn in by the man, how could she not? He's older, seductive, and instantly obsessed with her. But it's not just that, she sees something beyond his broody facade, something she wants to explore with him, even though she knows she's going to end up with her heart broken once her time with him is up.

Tamsyn may think her time will end with Lucien, but he thinks differently. Oh, he doesn't plan on giving her his heart or anything, but he's flat out obsessed with her and won't let her go, even though she thinks once her job is done with Mrs. Hooper, that she'll be leaving. But she sees something in him, sees beyond his walls, and is making him feel. They could have something he's never had, if only a huge obstacle didn't present itself.

Damaged, broody billionaire - ✔️ Age gap - ✔️ Hot af chemistry - ✔️✔️!! But also a huge cliffhanger that has me super anxious for the next installment. As I said in a previous review, age gap isn't normally my favorite thing, but it's great here. Tried and true, maybe even cliché, but I don't even care because these two instantly made me love them.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
