MY REVIEW

Elizabeth is now divorced from a man who never made her feel loved, when she meets a gorgeous younger man who instantly gives her that feeling - the one that says he can give her everything she's ever wanted and desired. Is it possible to fall in love instantly? To know deep inside that this person is the one?


Talon took one look at the woman who ran into him and knew she was his Little girl. Now all he has to do is convince her to submit to him, and he'll give her everything she wants but never asked for.


As far as MC fiction goes, The Shadowridge Guardians are MC-lite, which is a good thing. There's a bit of action and suspense, but nothing too dramatic or violent. Talon and Elizabeth's relationship is the center rather than the MC. I have to say insta-love and DD/LG are not either my things, but they're tolerable here. I do like Talon and Elizabeth individually, especially Talon, and they make a cute couple. Some of the LG things squick me out, but that's just my tastes, and not a knock on the writing or the story. All in all, this is a sweet reverse age gap story with two very likable characters and a cast of equally likable secondary characters in the MC brothers.
