Logan just ended things with his Instagram model girlfriend. So why not take his best friend up on his offer to hang out in his hometown for the summer? He had no way of knowing that it would mean he'd meet a beautiful, pepper-loving woman named Dylan - Garrett's little sister. Now he's thinking of long term, and long distance commitment. But can Dylan handle the life in the limelight that comes with being in a relationship with a professional athlete?


When Dylan told Logan she only dated golfers, she was only half teasing, because a life flinching every time her family members got hit on the field has given her a fear of dating football players. So it's very hard for her to understand why she can't resist Logan when he comes home with Garrett for the summer. Sure, he's hot and muscular the way football players tend to be. And he knows how to treat a woman the way she deserves to be treated. But what would she do if she fell in love with him, only for him to suffer a traumatic injury on the field? She can't get involved with him no matter how hot and sweet he is. Can she?


I do so love the brother's best friend romantic trope. Once upon a time I had a crush on my brother's best friend. While it never happened for me, it didn't stop me from loving that whole situation. When that friend is a dirty talking wide receiver, there's no way I could resist reading. Dylan being a pepper lover is a different and welcome bit of fun, she's sassy and funny and loves her family, which makes it perfect that the man who has her heart is a man who needs her love, and needs to be welcomed into her large, loving family. Tia knows her way around a possessive hero and a feisty heroine, and she's outdone herself with Logan and Dylan - they're as spicy as her peppers, as witty and fun, and there's a whole family of brothers whose stories I am dying to read now.
