Why you need to #ONECLICK this book…
🔥Small Town
🔥Marriage of Convenience
🔥Boss’s brother
🔥Single Mom
🔥"My Wife"

Blurb
Get married or move out. Those are my options, thanks to the trust my grandma left and my aunt is determined to enforce. From Marie Johnston comes a single-mom, marriage-of-convenience romance.

If I don’t get married, I’ll have to find somewhere to live that I can afford with two kids and a lot of debt—and do it without losing my brand-new job. When my aunt confronts me on the move-out deadline, I try to buy time. I blurt out a name. I tell her I’m engaged to Eliot Knight.

Eliot’s my boss’s brother and he’s been around the vet clinic where I work. He’s hot. He’s charming. He’s who I’d pick if I had to marry someone at a moment’s notice. But he wasn’t supposed to hear me. He wasn’t supposed to get dragged into my mess. And he wasn’t supposed to agree to help me. Now, we’re Mr. and Mrs. Knight.

We only need to be married for a year, and he runs his family’s ranch in another town. Three hours away. Yet circumstances keep throwing us together, and I get a lot of time with my new husband. I fall hard the first time I hear him say, “My wife.” But our lives are still separate. At the end of the year, I’m afraid I’ll get to keep my house, but I’ll lose my heart and be left with nothing but endless memories.

MY REVIEW

When Lily's put on the spot thanks to her grandmother's will, she blurts out a name right as the man himself appears. Now she and Eliot are getting married so she kan keep her grandma's house, and she and her kids will have a home. But what was supposed to just be a marriage of convenience to help her, is soon becoming much more to Lily. The question is, does Eliot feel the same? Does he want a real marriage - a real home with a family?

Eliot's the Knight who puts everyone's needs before his own. That's what people with savior complexes do. It's what made him step up and offer to marry Lily when she clearly needed help. And now he's stuck between giving into the feelings he's developed, and once again, doing what's right for everyone but himself.

I'm really sad to see this series end, but Eliot and Lily are the perfect couple to pull the whole series together and go out with a sweet way. The amount of growth they both do is so significant, so necessary, but had me on the edge of my seat wondering just when they would get on the same page finally. When they did, and both families were brought together, I was smiling so big. I was rooting this adorable couple on from their first page. And though I'm sad because the Knights have all found love and are done, Lily has an equally large family, and I'm excitedly waiting for all their stories now.

Meet Marie Johnston
Marie Johnston is a RITA® Finalist, and a best-selling and award-winning writer of paranormal and contemporary romance – and an avid reader of them both.

Several years ago, when kids started outnumbering adults in the house, Marie Johnston left her job as a public health microbiologist to stay at home. Settling into working part-time and shuttling kids around gave Marie the opportunity to think about what she wanted to be when she grew up. A die-hard science geek, she explored her previously thought to be non-existent creative side after much time spent making snowman crafts and coloring princesses. Having entertained thoughts of writing a book one day then subsequently deciding it would be too hard, she finally put the figurative pen to paper and began to type – and fell in love with story telling.

The Sigma Menace is the first series by Marie with Fever Claim being her first book EVER. She is humbled by the fact that people are willing to read to her books and looks forward to keeping readers entertained for many years.

Marie lives with her husband and four kids in North Dakota where the summers are gorgeous, the winters are brutal, and spring and fall are luxuries.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
