My gunshot wound doesn't matter.
The only thing that matters is my wife.
I'm haunted by the knowledge that she could be next.

MY REVIEW

Atticus got his woman back, but will he slip back into his old pattern of thinking? The pattern that Gwen hates so much? The pattern that doesn't put Gwen as an equal partner in their now very real marriage? And until the threat is truly gone, will he continue to treat her as if she's made of glass?

Gwen misses her husband. Oh, Atticus isn't gone. In fact, he's very much nearby, hovering actually. But the warmth and the heat that used to be in his eyes whenever he was near her, has disappeared. She knows her shooting has him spooked, but he's acting like the old Atticus, the one who didn't take into account that she is very much his equal in this marriage. If he's not careful, he might just lose her anyway.

Gwen and Atticus' story is so full of intense twists and turns, and the chemistry?! Damn, pure fire. They've truly become a unit by the time their journey ends in Merger, and I was cheering as they got the happiness they deserved, worked so hard for. Now I'm very impatiently waiting for Morgan and Lance's story. I hope it lands on my Kindle soon!

Meet Nana

Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
