Blurb
After two years of hiding, I'm finally free and all I want is some peace and maybe a little garden to tend. The adorable cabin in the forest is just what I'm looking for, private and secluded. Other than the long dead inhabitants of the old graveyard nearby, I only have one neighbor.

Arlow Shaw is antisocial if not outright reclusive, quiet, and guarded when it comes to discussing himself. A nature lover, he spends most of his time in the forest or tending to his apiary.

His calming effect on me is perplexing but exactly what I need. Through long nights spent talking over a bonfire, I grow close to the enigmatic man, but as we start to cross the line from friends to lovers, the trouble begins.

What starts as a few footprints in the woods and some broken windows quickly escalates to violent threats.

Our secrets are forced into the light but the question remains. Has my past come back to torment me or is there more to this man than I know?

The Beekeeper is a standalone romantic suspense with some mystery and a dark twist.

MY REVIEW

Calli's free from her past, or as much as possible, here in this secluded area. But then she meets her new neighbor, and suddenly she doesn't want to be so secluded from everyone, because Arlow is not only gorgeous, but kind, and he gets her. But will his protective nature extend to keeping her safe when her past comes back to haunt her?

Arlow prefers his seclusion. He likes living out here by himself with no one around to point and whisper about him and the way he looks. Then a beautiful woman moves nearby and that reclusive nature is interrupted. Except Calli doesn't really bother him - she doesn't seem horrified by his looks, she looks at him with appreciation. Soon he's coming to feel more for her than he realized he could. And his protective nature rears up with weird incidents start happening. How far will he go to protect the woman he's fallen for? How far will she go to protect him back? Protect the life they've formed together?

I wasn't expecting this! Twisty, lovable morally gray mc's, delicious chemistry - one of the best love stories I've read in a long time. Calli and Arlow are perfect for each other, flawed though they are, they fit each other in ways not always seen. My advice is to go in blind to The Beekeeper, and you won't regret it.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
