BLURB

In the glittering world of Manhattan's elite, I've always had everything money could buy. Except her – Annalise Gellar.

Blond curls. Expensive silk dress. Lips carved by angels, sent by the devil to torment me. She also happens to be the daughter of my rival, Archer Gellar. She hates me for who I am. I hate her for being a spoiled little daddy’s girl.

When my rival ends up in a coma, sweet little Annalise is left to manage the billion-dollar empire. She reluctantly seeks my help to navigate the business world. For her, it's survival. For me, an opportunity to finally claim her body and possess her soul.

I propose a deal: my mentorship in exchange for her warming my bed. She's wary of love with a brute like me. And I've only ever wanted her for her body. We can both agree that love is off the table.

But as I tutor Annalise in all things business, lines blur. Hate bleeds into something a lot like love. The workplace becomes our battleground. In a game where rules are meant to be broken, can we resist the allure of forbidden love?

MY REVIEW

Nate keeps telling himself that he only wants Annalise only for her body, and not her heart. He has her where he wants - as her father made a bet with him before he fell into a coma and was unable to complete the bet. But what if Nate, cynical, ruthless billionaire, is actually developing feelings, and finds himself wanting to help her rather than take her company from her and get his revenge on her father?

Annalise has spent her life trying to be the perfect daughter for her horrible parents, when Nate sweeps in and turns her world upside down. Now she's the CEO, taking over for her father. But as they start their arrangement, they're both finding the other isn't who they had thought. Love just may be in their future after all.

I do so love it when an alphahole gets brought to his knees by love. Nate was definitely an ass in the beginning, but slowly Annalise softened him and opened up his heart. I might not have been his biggest fan at first, but he managed to redeem himself as he grew into a better man. Annalise had her own character growth and managed to find her backbone finally, and stand up to her parents with Nate's help. I also like that she made Nate grovel a bit, even if it wasn't enough for my tastes, and by the end they were thoroughly on their way to a bright future.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
