MY REVIEW
Mabel thinks her plane is going down, so blurting out all kinds of private things about herself to her gorgeous seatmate seems like a good idea. Luckily for her, the plane does not, in fact, go down, AND her gorgeous guy is interested in helping her out with some of those things she blurted out. She's embarrassed, though, so jets off, never to see him again. Until she does...at a mutual friend's wedding. She's going to let him help her with those blurted out confessions but that's all it is. Because Joe's a famous hockey player not into sticking around, and Mabel wants to stay right here in Cherry Harbor with her family.
Joe has been rocked twice by his shy but sweet flight mate. First during their once in a lifetime night. Then when Mabel lets him know there was a very unintended consequence of that night. Now he needs to step up and put her and their soon to come baby first, even over hockey. If he's not careful, he's going to lose his heart to both of them.
I knew when I found out Joe's dad was one half of my favorite of all Melanie's couples, that I was going to fall hard for Joe and whoever he gave his heart to. There's no way Nick Lupo's son wouldn't be as amazing as Nick, but, and I feel like I'm a traitor for saying this, I do believe Joe is even more awesome than his dad. He is so sweet and caring with Mabel, doesn't think twice about not only stepping up and being there, but in truly taking care of her and their baby. Mabel and Joe are definitely the best way for Melanie to end this amazing series.
