How good are you at keeping a secret?

Because I, Juniper Perry, have been keeping a big one.

For over a decade, I’ve been crushing on the guy with the easy smile, warm brown eyes, and charismatic charm. He’s all the perfect things that, when you add them up, spell out Man of my dreams.

I know that doesn’t sound bad at all, but there’s more to this story...

We work together. I’m a lowly intern, and he’s a high-powered executive.

He’s my newest neighbor. No joke—he’s temporarily living next door to me.

And to top it all off, he’s my best friend’s older brother.

I’ve spent what feels like an eternity keeping my crush on him a secret, but recently, I’ve found a way to have him and my anonymity too. A way to chat and flirt and get close to him.

My best friend doesn’t know about these Midnight chats.

And he doesn’t know I’m the girl he’s talking to night after night.

Beau Banks might be completely off-limits, but what happens at Midnight stays between us...

MY REVIEW

Juniper has crushed on her best friend's brother Beau, forever now it seems. And to top it off, she's working with him at his family's company now. She's never had the courage to tell him about her feelings and now is not the time, as he's a big shot here, and she's just an intern. Sigh...but then thanks to their job, she finds a way to send him flirty texts, then more emotionally significant ones, and now they're actually coming to mean something. But what happens when he finds out her true identity? What happens when her friend/his sister finds out?

Beau and Juniper are so freaking adorable! From their first anonymous flirty messages, all the way down to their last page, I was smiling and swooning, so wanting them to get together in person and realize how much they loved each other, to finally see each other for their true selves. There's found family (for Juniper), pining and angst, lots of laughs, and a very sweet couple who finally got to know each other in the truest of ways. Beau's family is awesome, and the friendship between Juniper and Avery is fun. I didn't particularly like Avery - she comes across as seriously self-absorbed and shallow, but their friendship is strong, and it allowed Juniper to have the family and the love she didn't get while growing up.

My book boyfriends go with me everywhere. I prefer them tall, dark, and handsome, but I don’t discriminate. They sweep me off my feet and are always there when I need them—in my purse, in my car, and even in my bathtub. Book boyfriends may not be real, but at least they won’t break my heart… or get another girl pregnant. I don’t do relationships. I get one whiff and run in the opposite direction. It took me seven years to mend my broken heart, and I’m not about to hand it over again. That’s why I can’t fall for Beckett. With his Clark Kent glasses and brooding stare, he’s a superhero in disguise. And his superpower? Melting panties with a single ...

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...

This man's touch had me coming undone. Not only is he tall, brilliant, gorgeous, and sexy as sin, he left me wanting more. He haunts my fantasies until I read about him: Senator Bennett Stone. Armed with his name, I dig for the truth. Stone is from Atlanta and is independently wealthy. A billionaire. He's rumored to be the next vice president.
