MY REVIEW
Alice cannot believe she's about to meet her idol, Chef Michael Kesso. He's about to eat and judge her holiday desserts, and she's not sure she can even handle it - she's so nervous and excited, and so in love with the man she's about to meet for the first time. Even if she doesn't win this baking competition, it will have all been worth it because she gets to be in the same room as the man she's obsessed with.
Michael doesn't want to be here on this reality competition, until he sees the most beautiful woman ever, one of the contestants. He cannot make a move on her, though. Or at least, not until the show is over. He doesn't want anything to taint the competition. But there's nothing in the rules that says he can't look and get to know her, right?
A couple years ago, I read the first installment of The Bite series, and loved it. And now I'm so glad I got to finish the series, because Alice and Michael are the cutest, and hottest, holiday couple. She's been obsessed with him ever since she saw him on TV, and he's obsessed the first time he lays eyes on her. I can't think of a better premise for a holiday love story, and these two pastry chefs definitely make the holidays delicious as they fall in love.
