Blurb
Bax Mayson thought he had escaped the family curse—until he saw Olivia Gannon again. It’s been eight years since he last laid eyes on his best friend’s little sister, and now, fate has thrown her back into his life. As if their undeniable connection isn’t complicated enough, a mysterious threat looms, determined to tear Olivia away from him.

For Olivia, moving back home wasn’t supposed to change everything—until it did. Running into Bax was the last thing she expected, but that one encounter sets off a whirlwind of events she couldn’t have imagined. Now, with family tensions rising, exes resurfacing, and a hidden enemy out for revenge, Olivia must figure out who—or what—they’re fighting. Because one thing is certain: she and Bax have something worth fighting for.

MY REVIEW

Bax's best friend's younger sister has come home and she's got him all bothered. No one told him she had grown into such a beauty - one thing's for sure, she's not the awkward little girl he remembered. But if anyone is off-limits, it's Olivia. What's a guy to do when he's found the one, but he's not allowed to have her?

Olivia is an adult so she should be allowed to be with whomever she chooses. So Bax isn't off-limits, right? Or wrong, because she would never want to jeopardize Bax's friendship with her brother Liam, and she knows Liam will flip if he finds out his best friend and boss is dating his sister. So what's a woman to do? Engage in something secret until the truth inevitably comes out? Or stay away from the man she's fallen in love with?

When these Maysons find the one, nothing can keep them from them. Poor Bax, though, had to wade through her brother's anger, and the person out there that wouldn't leave Olivia alone. Thank God he's the strong guy he is, because he needed that strength to deal with every obstacle they had to hurdle. Luckily he found a woman of equal strength in Olivia. She's strong, sassy and the only one who could bring a former playboy like Bax to his knees. Their connection is so deliciously hot that no way could Liam's disapproval keep them from each other. The BOOM is alive and well for and Olivia and Bax!

My book boyfriends go with me everywhere. I prefer them tall, dark, and handsome, but I don’t discriminate. They sweep me off my feet and are always there when I need them—in my purse, in my car, and even in my bathtub. Book boyfriends may not be real, but at least they won’t break my heart… or get another girl pregnant. I don’t do relationships. I get one whiff and run in the opposite direction. It took me seven years to mend my broken heart, and I’m not about to hand it over again. That’s why I can’t fall for Beckett. With his Clark Kent glasses and brooding stare, he’s a superhero in disguise. And his superpower? Melting panties with a single ...

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
