Seth is the vibrant bisexual marathoner who sparked the relationship with Kat and Dylan. He remains undeterred in pursuit of their perfect love, even when confronted with a devastating blow. Kat, their sharp-witted pixie, treasures good moments as gifts due to past experiences. She hesitates to wholeheartedly commit based on a deep-rooted fear of heartache and pressing her luck. Dylan exudes irresistible confidence and brilliance and is marked for an impressive political future. However, his internal struggle with identity and career decisions poses a significant hurdle in committing to their love affair.

They share a sizzling three-way passion but are destined to part ways after graduating from their Chicago law school. Legal battles, heart-wrenching losses, and mounting obligations challenge the prospect of reclaiming their love.

MY REVIEW

Dylan, Kat, and Seth's time together is coming to an end. Dylan's taking a job in California and now Seth and Kat will be left to their own devices. There's no way they can make a relationship work from California and Chicago, so they're saying goodbye. But is it really goodbye? Is there anyway possible they'll be able to come back to each other? They need to work on themselves, their relationships with family, and decide if they can be public with their feelings for each other.

The timeline here is different than the average romance. The beginning of Willful Parties shows an established, if secret, relationship that's coming to an end. What their story ends up being is less of a romance and more of a character study. Each of the three goes on a journey. Kat suffers a huge loss - both familial and of her career. Seth has to come to terms with his family, but his is far, far worse than either Kat's or Dylan's. And Dylan has to deal with a life away from the two people he cares about, and decide if his path actually aligns with his parents' expectations. All this while dealing with their feelings for each other, and not being with each other in the same place at the same time. The chemistry and the spice is positively electric, but the real standout in this threesome is the way they feel about each other and the way they finally worked everything out.

INDULGE IN LIFE'S GUILTY PLEASURES!

Liz Ellyn nourishes people’s cravings for the irresistible. Like the decadent desserts she delivers, she creates alluring characters deserving of happy endings.

With degrees in both engineering and law, she argues that the positive energy gained by indulging in one’s guilty pleasure appropriately counterbalances the serious forces of daily life.

When she isn’t writing or devouring steamy romance books, she spoils her family, including her two dogs, Boomer and Tanner.

Bon Appetite and Happy Reading!

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
