Blurb
From USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa comes a brand-new Kentbury novella where the reclusive small-town heir might finally meet his match…except he’s been hiding who he is—and who he’s with—all this time.

I can’t believe I’m calling Kentbury home. When I first arrived, I wasn’t planning on staying, but I’ve found my place here with Damian Harris. Our arrangement started off as some no-strings-attached fun, but somewhere between midnight kisses and secret touches, my heart got involved.

Now it’s almost New Year’s Eve, and I’m done being invisible. I’ve discovered how to love in Kentbury, learned who I really am—and I refuse to keep hiding behind locked doors. Damian may be tied to his powerful family name, but if he wants me by his side, he has to face the truth of who we are together.

If he won’t stand with me in the open, then I’ll have to ring in the new year on my own—because I can’t keep being his secret anymore.

MY REVIEW

Damien and Paul love each other, but in secret. Neither feels as if they can be public about their feelings and both have the weight of expectations of family and the community lying their shoulders. But when Paul decides he wants to be open about how he feels and who he loves, will Damien leave him? Paul's tired of being a secret and he's not sure he can keep in the shadows any longer.

I have so loved reading about the men and women of Kentbury and how they fall in love. Paul and Damien's love story is the perfect way to end this series. They're such lovable men both, and just can't seem to get past the fear of what the world might think if they're open about their feelings. I wanted to hug them both, especially Paul, as they grappled with love, and the expectations of family. I'm going to miss this small but loving town of Kentbury.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
