Review / Release Blitz: The Moon & His Tides (Impossible Universe Trilogy #1) by Giana Darling

The Moon & His Tides by Giana Darling is now live!

From Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes an MMF romance between an Italian chauffeur dreaming of stardom and the power couple who offer him the deal of a lifetime...

Everyone in Naples told me I was tall, dark, and handsome. An Italian with golden eyes made for fame on the silver screen, even when I was just the young patriarch of my broken, scattered family.
I may have beauty and talent, but opportunities are scarce in the theatre and film industry.

That is, until I become chauffeur to the lovely and glamorous Savannah Meyers, wife to one of the most revered actors in England.

She notices me…in more ways than one.

Before I can check my impulses, I find myself falling for Savannah and her promises.
Only, instead of enraging her husband, Adam Meyers, they approach me to make a very scandalous proposition.

Live with them as their lover, and they will make all of my wildest dreams come true.

MY REVIEW

Sebastian is a young guy just trying to get his manuscript in the right hands, make a living and help his family back in Italy, when he meets at first just a woman, then her husband, who take apart his life, and have the potential to make it right again. Savannah is the beautiful wife to iconic actor, Adam, when she catches Sebastian's attention and vice versa. But it's when he's introduced to her husband, and the two of them come to him with a *ahem* proposal, that things really take a turn. Now he's their third, and he's loving it, loving them. The only question is, will they allow him to love them? Or will that be the one thing they can't (won't) give him?

"You have this pull over me the way the moon does over the tides. It's elemental and terrifying, and I wouldn't change it for anything."

Adam has two lives - his public one where he's the revered actor the people love, and the other, private one where he and his wife both individually and together, indulge in their dirtiest desires. When his wife introduces him to a young, beautiful Sebastian, for the first time since Savannah, his feelings are more than physical. But there's no way he can give Sebastian what he wants - for them to be together as a threesome, in love publicly.

"Both of them knew who I was and what I wanted. A love that moved the sun and the stars. And if they didn't feel that way... Well then, I wouldn't see either of them again."

OK first off - wtf was with that awful cliffhanger?! OK, mini rant over and onto the actual review - I LOVE this first installment of Sebastian and the two who may (or may not) end up being his loves. For me, Sebastian is the shining star, the one I love the most, the one I focused on, and the one I really care about finding love. That being said, I do like Adam, but am very worried about the way he handled things at the end. And then there's Savannah...let me just say she's not my favorite, or actually, I don't like her at all. I am however, very, very invested in Sebastian being happy, and if Savannah, and/or Adam are the ones to do that, then she (they) get a pass only because of Sebastian's feelings for them. If you, like me, like your MMF with lots of insane spice, but with an underlying emotional thread, then you absolutely must read this first part of Impossible Universe Trilogy. I'm not sure I can wait until June for The Sun & Her Burn, and then later The Stars & Their Sky. I have to though, if I want to find out how my guy Sebastian gets everything he wants with those he wants.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
