Sarah's just trying to be the best mom to her kids, after having left her absolutely horrible husband. Now the man who she had thought was the one is around, and she's having a hard time remembering why he's not the one. And then there's Sammy, their friend, her brother-in-law's brother, and the man she's starting to develop feelings for too. Is it possible for the three of them to be out and open with their love?


Second chances, poly MMF, and romantic suspense?! I knew I had to read something with all these tropes, and I was so not disappointed. Set in a typical (read, gossipy) small town where everyone's in everyone's business, Sammy, Sarah and Colt had a daunting journey ahead of them, but they navigated it mostly with grace. I always say that for me, a menage is only successful if the physical and emotional components are balanced equally, and if the individual relationships within the three are as solid as the relationship between the three as a whole. I am very happy to find that both these balances are more than present, and by the end, I was so happy to see them together, happily. The spice is so freaking hot, but never so much that it overshadowed their very real emotional connections. They had to weather some really awful things (her ex mainly) and fear of what others would say and think, but they got through everything in love.
