HE ONLY PLANNED TO KEEP HER FOR THE NIGHT

Under the dazzling Sin City lights, Adam Larssen, airline owner-CEO, is power and masculinity personified.
Women want the handsome billionaire pilot.
No one can have him.

Having sworn off romantic entanglements, he exclusively hires escorts.
Everything changes when he crosses paths with the beautiful and enigmatic Eve Layton, the most sought-after escort in Las Vegas.

Their off-the-charts chemistry leaves Eve bewildered and Adam wanting more. Despite his reservations, Adam finds himself unrelentingly pursuing Eve.
Eve is resolute in keeping her emotions detached from clients, determined to follow her chosen life path. But Adam tips her world off its axis and challenges that resolve.

As their mutual attraction repeatedly draws them together, they break their own rules. Physical attraction leads to a deeper connection, and the vows and plans they previously believed to be immovable begin to shift.
Will they find the strength to resist temptation, or will they surrender to a passion that cannot be denied?

MY REVIEW

When Eve is booked for a night by billionaire pilot Adam, she doesn't expect the immediate connection they form. But in her line of work, she knows better than to catch anything resembling feelings, so she moves on knowing that connection will never be furthered. But she underestimated Adam's determination...

Adam may not normally develop feelings for the women he hires, but there's something fascinating about Eve. Once was not enough with her - he wants more, much more. But he has a secret that could be a serious obstacle for them to overcome. If he can explain himself and get past Eve's walls, they've got a good chance at making it work.

I love Pretty Woman, so to find a retelling, one so well written with two great characters, made me so happy! Eve and Adam (cute play on names) have an intense connection from their first meeting, and the way their story plays out is so tension-filled, with lots of delicious spice, and more than a little character growth for both of them. This seems to be the author's debut novel - she's off to a great start, and now I'm really looking forward to more from her and this series.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
