MY REVIEW
It feels like everything is coming full circle when Judd rescues Genie from her mom, and declares he's her fiancé. They have a painful history, former friends, would be high school sweethearts, and now...engaged? They agree on 10 days, but if Judd can convince her, they could be forever.
Judd never told Genie why he stood her up on prom night. He never told her a lot of things, like the crush he had (has) on her, or what he does now to release the negativity running through his mind. But if he has his way and convinces Genie to never leave him, both of them will have to bare their souls to each other.
I really wasn't expecting the way Judd and Genie would tug on my heartstrings and make me shed a few tears along the way. Their backstories, especially Judd's, were heartbreaking, but from the first time they met each other and shared yes or no notes, it was obvious they were soulmates. They took the long way around, suffering immense pain from people who were supposed to love them, but in the end they came back to each other. They are couple goals indeed!
