After the charming billionaire and I successfully play matchmaker, he asks me to be his fake fiancée. Saying yes might be the biggest slip-up of my life, but what are friends for?

Weston Calloway is the last man I imagined meeting after one of my boring breakups. But there he was, in a dive bar, drinking cheap whiskey, looking like my next favorite mistake. Instead of hooking up, we become secret friends.

When his jealous ex stirs up unnecessary drama, Weston asks me to go public with our friendship, but things quickly escalate and we lose control of the situation. Now, we're roommates, and I'm wearing a diamond ring that he slipped on my finger.

This game may be fun, but we agreed to one unbreakable rule—no falling in love.

Easy, right? It should be.

The Friend Situation is a billionaire, fake dating rom-com with a happily ever after! It’s a stand-alone with open-door scenes. Included: a rich AF, respectful hero who falls first and hard but isn’t afraid to call his bestie mine.

MY REVIEW

Carlee and Weston have been secret friends for awhile when a situation arises and they need to start fake dating. Now they're in the public eye pretending to be engaged, all while in private trying to maintain a friendship that really in their hearts has always been more. Is it possible for a friendship to become more, REAL, when so many obstacles are in front of them?

Weston has long held feelings for his secret friend, Carlee. She's his sister-in-law's best friend, and his own friend, but he has always known he couldn't cross that line, even after he divorced his horrible ex. But now he's in a situation where he needs a fake relationship, who better than the woman he loves, his best friend? He'll need to wait her out for any declaration of feelings, though, because she's not one for relationships, having been burned by her own awful ex.

I have to admit I didn't really understand why these two needed to keep their friendship a secret. But the fact that they did have a secret sort of upped the angst and the tension between them, and added to their already palpable chemistry, so I was cool with it. Understandable that their friends kept trying to matchmake them together, considering their obvious attraction. There's a bit of suspense, two friends who were never going to remain just friends, and some of the spiciest scenes ever from this author. So far this Billionaire Situation series is fun, witty and sexy. Now I can't wait for Weston and Easton's sister Billie's story with her enemy Asher releases. Enemies to lovers is so much fun!

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
