MY REVIEW

As the eldest of the family, Archer has taken on the responsibility of their family business. Things have been a mess since their father slid into dementia, but Archer's been able to put the pieces back together as much as possible. Each sibling has taken on a different department, but it's his sister's idea to allow weddings that has him even grumpier than usual because this time the bride is under his skin. He might have the wrong idea about the rom com princess...but rescuing her when trouble finds her has started to give him insight into the beautiful ray of sunshine who has her own issues.

Ella really wants a baby, so a marriage of convenience is the best way to help achieve that. Unfortunately, her PR approved fiancé may not be the best guy she should be marrying. But she certainly never thought that grumpy Archer, the head of the winery where she wants to have the wedding, would be the man she falls for, the man who sees the real her, and who hides a beautiful heart beneath all the grump.

Sigh and swoon! I am so going to miss this heartfelt, loving series. But if Stacy had to end it, she certainly picked the best couple to conclude what is one of the best series I've read in a long time. Ella and Archer may have started off on the wrong foot, and their grumpy/sunshine was in full effect, but in their hearts there was absolutely no way they weren't going to fall for each other. He's a grump with a tender, romantic heart, and she's a ray of sunshine with an equally tender heart just looking for her soulmate even if she didn't know it or recognize it in him at first. I adore Ella and Archer and am so sad to see Buttercup Hill come to a conclusion.
