MY REVIEW
Cade's crushing on a guy, but that's not the bad part. What's not so great is that he's not here permanently. The first thing with a guy and it has an expiration date? Yeah...but can Cade and Maddox make even anything work if his rep has given him the idea that he's not worthy of a relationship?
Maddox wasn't sure what to think of the gorgeous Cade when they first ran into each other. But there's something about him he's drawn to, even though Cade is "straight." He's supposed to be here working on his thesis, not to indulge in a fling with the town's playboy. But he can't resist and now he's fully in, even if he knows in the back of his mind that he'll be leaving soon. Or will he? There just may be a place for him here, if he and Cade can admit to each other how they feel.
This is a sweet fling to more romance. I like both Cade and Maddox, they have serious chemistry, and their characters are adorable. I felt for Cade, as he kept thinking his reputation made him less than worthy. Thank God a family member came along and helped both men get a little clarity. I see that this is the first of a new series and now I'm excited to read Carter and Sloan's story next.

I’ve read anything and everything since then; historical fiction, mystery, fantasy and even non-fiction. I devour it all. But I keep coming back to romance. Though sports romance is my guilty pleasure (I love all things active and outdoors), I don’t discriminate by genre or trope.
I love a steamy story (no closed-door scenes for me) but I also love romance. I want to see the emotion behind the steam, to understand what drives characters to fall in love. And I want to fall in love with the people on the page as they’re falling in love with each other. Above all else, I want the fantasy to feel like it could be reality. That’s why I started writing.
