Review: On The Rocks (Brothers Three Orchard #6) by Taryn Quinn

On The Rocks (Brothers Three Orchard #6) by Taryn Quinn is LIVE NOW!

I wanted to start over, but my past followed me with a vengeance.

My band crashed and burned in a spectacular fashion, shattering all my relationships in one moment of betrayal.

Reeling and alone, I decided it was time to search out my half-brother.

Finally, I found him in an orchard in bumfk New York. He wanted nothing to do with me, but I could—and would—outstubborn him. You see, I had nothing left to lose.

But the Brothers Three Orchard gave me more than hope.

It gave me Lennon Hathaway, too. Remember that stubborn streak? I needed every ounce of it to win her over.

But Lennon was worth the effort and it turned out she wanted me, maybe even forever.

I’d traveled all over the world and never been anywhere that felt like home until I stepped foot on that land.

And for the first time in my life I wanted to stay. To put down roots.

Then my past came back to hurt me as they believed I hurt them. To destroy the future I’d been working toward.

To hurt those I’d come to love.

I had to make sure it didn’t happen.

At any cost.

Author's Note: Welcome to the sixth book in the Brothers Three Orchard series. This is Lennon and Griffin's book. The black cat and golden retriever energy is huge in this one along with a bit of suspense and rockstar energy sprinkled throughout. It ends in a HEA with no cliffhanger.

MY REVIEW

Lennon's time has come - accept the job in Miami or stay here at Brothers Three. Either way, it looks like Griffin will be with her. Griffin, the guy she can't stand...or is it really the opposite? For so long she's been making her way around the world as a flair bartender, but she's always had in mind her own spot. She's had little time or inclination for relationships, but Griffin came along and was so persistent and irresistible that she couldn't help but fall for him. They're solid. Or are they? His rockstar past just may be the end of them.

Griffin and Lennon's story is my favorite in this series. I love the way she kept him at a distance until she couldn't resist him any longer. The sparks between them were just begging to catch fire, and when they did - whew! I've missed the rockstar worlds this writing duo does so well, and Griffin gave me those vibes - with the crazy twist I didn't see coming. Justin and Annette's story is coming next, and I'm seriously impatient now for it.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
