Review / Release Blitz: Never Your Girl (Western Wildcats Hockey #7) by Jennifer Sucevic

Never Your Girl by Jennifer Sucevic is now live!

Can you really blame me for loving the scandalous texts exposing Bridger Sanderson for the jerk he is? As far as I'm concerned, it's sweet karma for ghosting me after we hooked up two years ago. Cocky, infuriating, and way too gorgeous for his own good, Bridger thinks he's untouchable.

The best part?

He's convinced I'm behind the messages.

Ha! I wish.

Unfortunately, my life takes a turn for the worst when Bridger uncovers my secret side hustle. Now he's blackmailing me, forcing me to stick close—we're talking 24/7—until he figures out who's airing his dirty laundry on campus.

I should hate him for dragging me into his mess.

And I do...

Mostly.

Except... the more time we spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore how he looks at me. It's almost like he can see straight through the walls I've built to protect myself. Or how his own guard slips, revealing the cracks in his armor when he thinks I'm not paying attention.

The only person who's ever gotten this close is ColdAsIce17, my anonymous confidant on the school chat app. With him, I can totally be myself.

But what happens when the lines blur between the guy I hate and the one I can't stop thinking about?

What happens when I realize... they might be the same person?

MY REVIEW

Holland and Bridger have a history, rocky, complicated kind of history. He thinks she's behind the mysterious, anonymous messages that have appeared spilling his business, so he's blackmailed her into a fake relationship so he can keep a close eye on her. Except he didn't take into account what the close proximity would do to all those feelings both have been avoiding acknowledging for so long. Fake is quickly turning real, even if neither quite trusts the other completely.

With Bridger and Holland's story, we've come to the end of Western Wildcats Hockey, and what a story to conclude this series with! Both Holland Bridger had hard lives, and had suffered because of it. They had their walls, they didn't trust others, and were definitely not looking for love. Thankfully they found it, though, and it was so much fun getting there. Snarky, witty banter, and delicious chemistry. I'm sad this series has come to an end, but Jennifer chose a great couple for the conclusion.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
