Dayton Calloway and I wouldn’t have gotten together if it weren’t for two pink lines.

After getting divorced, Francisca Dawson is attempting to find out who she is and how she wants her life to look. One thing she knows is that there isn’t room for a man in that equation. But then she meets Dayton Calloway. A man who is charming, funny, and unbelievably gorgeous. Dayton knew that he never wanted to get married or have children. His upbringing before he entered foster care showed him that. So he took all precautions to make sure that wasn’t a possibility.

Now, he’s picturing life as a father and coming to terms with the possibility of having everything he never knew he wanted with a woman who is not only taking up space in his life, but that empty space in his chest.

MY REVIEW


Francisca “Franny” and Dayton were never meant to be more than a ons but something changed that. Now Dayton is stepping up. But is it only because he’s going to be a dad, or does he really want a true relationship with Franny? He’s not one for relationships considering his childhood, but with a baby coming, he and Franny have the chance to be a whole unit. Franny will have to decide if she wants to let Dayton in or just to coparent.


This is such a sweet accidental/surprise pregnancy story. Dayton may not have been one for relationships before, but once he finds out that Franny’s pregnant, he’s all in. She’s hesitant, which is understandable, but their growing feelings meant they were absolutely going to end up together in love.

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women?
