MY REVIEW
When Griffin rescues Andi on the side of the road when her car breaks down, it sets the tone for their entire relationship. He's a former SEAL, a current firefighter captain, and protective af. When she becomes the nanny for his two kids, their very inconvenient attraction could be a problem. He doesn't deal with feelings well, he runs his household with military precision, and Andi's pretty much his opposite, along with being much younger. Can a rigid Captain Stone and a much younger sunshiney songwriter make it work?
Whew, what delicious start to a new series! Griffin and Andi are a sweet pair of opposites with an instant attraction, and very different views of life. She's sunshine and he's...not. But his heart is pure mush for not just Andi, but his kids, too, even if he doesn't show it at first. I love the way she stands up to him and shows him how his way of dealing with his kids can be changed, for all their benefits. But what I love most is how Andi comes in with her huge heart and changes all their lives, brings joy and love to all of them. Griffin's family is awesome - their banter is hilarious, but it's their strong bond that's so intriguing and has me excited for all their stories to come.
