MY REVIEW
When Baylee needs help, there's only one person to ask - her brother's best friend, Tucker. After all, she's been in love with him forever, and he's as protective as her brother. He may not love her the way she loves him, but he will help her. Move her in, and watch over. And make her crush even stronger. How on earth is she going to get out of this with her heart intact?
Tucker promised his best friend, Danny, a long time ago, that he'd never make a move on Danny's sister. But even when he made that promise, he had feelings for Baylee that weren't exactly just friends. Now Baylee's rooming with him, and he can't keep his feelings from her any longer. Danny will just have to deal with them being together, because Tucker wants everything with Baylee.
Once Baylee and Tucker give into all the close proximity, there's no stopping them. There was no way they weren't going to fall in love this time, regardless of Danny's ridiculous command that forbid them from being together. Sweet golden retriever Tucker and his forbidden, much younger Baylee are a couple who went through it to be together. They're a cute couple with hilarious friends and found family, especially probie Hunter, whose story I'm very much looking forward to next.

She is a registered nurse with years of experience working with families starting their journey into the parenting world. She started writing as a way to connect with families. After releasing her first memoir in May 2023, she felt a pull towards writing romance. Her love of the genre is something she is highly invested in as a reviewer and cheerleader for authors all around. Stefanie debuts her romance this fall with If Only You Knew. She is shining a light on romance characters that are in their forties, something she feels is not easy to find in the genre. Stefanie resides in Southern California, with her husband, two kids, and their Cavalier King Charles dog.
