“Do you want to be God’s favorite tonight?”

Taylor Williams has one goal: land her first client and finally walk away from her soul-sucking agency job. What she doesn’t plan on is meeting Brandon Dubois—an unexpectedly sweet billionaire’s son—at a party in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Brandon is sober, complicated, and very interested in Taylor—and not afraid to make it known. Their chemistry is undeniable, and soon their connection runs far deeper than playful banter or late-night texts.

Then comes Kyle Rathbone—the viral thirst trap vampire model hired for High Five’s Halloween party—whose presence exposes secrets, shadows, and desires none of them can ignore. With sparks flying on every side, Taylor finds herself caught between two men who want her … and maybe each other too.

Sharing Shadow Secrets is a steamy, emotional MFM romance about chasing dreams, facing the past, and discovering that sometimes being “God’s favorite” means getting everything you never thought you could have.

MY REVIEW

Taylor meets Brandon at a 4th of July party and sparks are flying, but it's not the right time for them. But it certainly is later. The sparks are definitely still there, and things are moving along. Then she hires a gorgeous vampire for a Halloween party, and whew, things start really happening! Brandon and Kyle have a history that's about to get a lot more...fun? Complicated? Deep.

This is a fun addition to the High Five Novella series! Brandon and Taylor start off and their relationship evolves and I was digging it. But the real heart of the story arrives when Kyle makes his entrance. The first real scene between the 3 of them was so steamy, whew! But there are also some heavy subjects that Serena handles with a lot of care. I really felt her sensitivity in the way she wrote Brandon's backstory and the history between him and Kyle. Though this is not my favorite of this series (that honor belongs to Nicholas and Emily's story, Santa's Coming), I still really enjoyed this sweet, sexy novella. It's at turns lighthearted and emotional, with the right amount of heat, and features 3 distinct relationships that are balanced well between the 3 leads. The mental health rep is perfect, as well as the LGBTQ aspect. I do with Kyle had come into the picture a bit sooner, so they could have been a solid trio for longer, but by the end I knew their relationship was on solid ground.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
