Elizabeth
My brother was getting married.
At Christmas no less.
The holiday I hated the most.
Let me list all the reasons why this will be the worst season yet:
One would be my luggage not arriving.
Two would be being told I had to find somewhere else to sleep since my room was occupied by family members.
Oh, and now I am forced to stay with my brother’s best friend.
The man who broke my heart seven years ago.

Nate
My best friend was getting married.
I was happy for him.
Until I had to offer his sister my spare bedroom.
It’d be fine, two weeks and she’d be out of my hair.
But the thing with Elizabeth was that she pushed every single button I have.
She gets under my skin in the best ways.
All we have to do is survive the wedding and the holiday.
Then she’ll be gone yet again.
Unless maybe, just maybe, my wish of having her comes true.

MY REVIEW

Elizabeth's coming home for Christmas and she's decidedly unhappy about it. Not only is it her least favorite holiday that her brother decided to get married, but she lost her luggage, AND she knows she'll have to see her brother's best friend who happens to be her former ons, turned enemy. And now she finds that not only does she have to put up with seeing Nate, she has to room with him too thanks to her family giving away her room to other family. No matter...she'll just grin and bear it, then go home to Australia and make up excuses to not come back anytime soon.

Elizabeth drives Nate crazy. Ever since she left the morning after their ons, without a word, he's wanted to be over her. How's he supposed to done with her when she's going to be sleeping in his guest room while she's here for his best friend's wedding? How's he supposed to keep his heart safe when she still has it in her hands?

Black cat/golden retriever, grumpy/sunshine, second chance and Christmas romance with top tier snarky banter - what a way to start off my holiday reading season! Of course, there wouldn't have been a need for a second chance if they had communicated back then, but thank God they had grown since then and figured things out this time around after a ton of snark and delicious tension that they work out in lots of fun ways. I loved this holiday romance filled with the magic of the season, spicy chemistry, family bonding, and lots and lots of love - now I'm thoroughly in the holiday mood and looking forward to more!

Meet Natasha Madison
When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
