When Isla is bet she can find her brother's best friend a holidate, this matchmaker is finding herself in over her head, uh, make that heart. Rowan isn't only gorgeous and sweet, he's the best dad and doggy dad who doesn't believe in love any longer after what his horrible ex did to him. When they agree to fake date for the holidays, she's having a very hard time remembering it's supposed to be fake. But for the sake of her already bruised heart, she's going to have to let him go after the gala.


Isla doesn't know it, and Rowan is loathe to tell anyone, but he's been fascinated by his best friend Jason's sister, Isla, for years. Now they're fake dating for the holidays, thanks to a little bet, and he's finding that her sunshine to his grump, is opening up his heart to not just the magic of the season, but to...feelings. He still isn't sure he wants to admit those feelings, and he knows he still isn't cut out for a relationship, but Isla has gotten under his skin. Even his daughter adores her. Maybe, just maybe, their fake holidating can become a permanent, real kind of thing.
