Jordan's been running behind the most stunning woman, and he can't keep her off his mind. Soon their running transitions into more, but he wants even more. Their chemistry ignites quickly, and has them both falling. But somewhere between not too secret public trysts, and much more private ones, Jordan's playboy status is falling quickly to the wayside. He's feeling things he's never before felt, and he's realizing he wants everything with Maya. If only his identity wasn't such a problem, if only he could tell her who he really is without the fear of losing her because of his last name.

Maya has good reason to despise rich people. They're the ones who drove her mother and her out of their home back in the day, all so they could build some luxury condos. All they care about is making more money, not about hardworking people like herself who live paycheck to paycheck and count on small apartments like the one they took from her and her mom. That's why she's so glad Jordan isn't one of them.

Marni started off this new series with a sizzling hot couple. Jordan and Maya's chemistry positively smolders from the first words to each other, and ignites quickly in delicious ways. The fact that they meet while running is a fun way to introduce them to each other, and then the bridge...whew! I love all of Marni's billionaire alphas, especially when they're brought to their knees by a special woman. Maya is definitely special - a strong, sassy woman who was raised by someone who gave her a warped view of love, and of the 1%. It makes perfect sense to pair her with someone the opposite of who she would ever have pictured herself falling for, someone who would end up seeing her for the amazing person she is, a grumpy reformed playboy who didn't know what hit him when he started running behind a beauty, affording him the most delicious view. He didn't know she'd end up being the only woman he'd give his heart to. There's a great supporting cast around them, Jordan's brother Gavin and nephew Ben and and Maya's bestie Emily - I am so excited to read their stories next!
