Blurb
In New Orleans, I'm known as the fun and laid-back LeBlanc brother. The Rebel CEO.

I’m successful and determined, but I don't play by the rules. Heck, I don't even have rules except one. I never ever get involved with my assistants. After a very bad experience years ago, I know better than to mix business and pleasure.

I've had no problems sticking to my rule until I hired Daisy.

When I first meet her, I have no idea she’s my new temp assistant. I just set eyes on this gorgeous woman at my favorite coffee shop, and do what I do best: flirt with her like there's no tomorrow. When I realize my mistake, I change the tune. I'm cold and distant but my plan is not working. Not one bit.

Whenever she steps into my office, all I think about is bending her over my desk. When she gives me sass, all I want is to cover her mouth with mine until she begs for more. Daisy is fun and unlike anyone I've met, and I gravitate toward her whether I want it or not.

When she suddenly gets a call from home that her family needs help, I immediately take over. All lines blur, but one thing I know for sure, I won't let Daisy go. I just have to convince her that I'm the one.

And I'm very convincing when I want to be.

MY REVIEW

Anthony is the easygoing Leblanc brother in charge of the music division of his family's empire. But he's not so easygoing with his assistants (for very good reasons), which is why his company has had problems finding an assistant for him again. He's scared off so many that the HR manager is at her wit's end finding one. Then in walks the beautiful stranger he had a very sweet, flirtatious moment with at the coffeeshop this morning. Suddenly he's found his personality again with Daisy in his office. But there are boundaries they can't cross, right? Professional ones that he is having a very hard time remembering each time he sees her.

When Daisy didn't get her dream job in New Orleans thanks to a hiring freeze, she told her recruiter she'd take just about any job at a company where she could get her foot in the door. That's why she's agreed to take an interview for an assistant job, even though it's not in the marketing field like her degree. But why oh why does the man who's interviewing her have to be the gorgeous guy who flirted with her at the coffeeshop earlier? She can't possibly cross the professional lines, can she?

I love the Broussard-Leblanc families! Anthony is the sweet brother, but boy does that sweetness disappear and the dirty make an appearance when the time is right. He and Daisy are reluctant to cross professional boundaries, but their chemistry was sizzling from their first meeting, so I knew they wouldn't resist for very long. He wants to shout it to the world, and even brings her to meet his family, and that's when he (and I) knew she was perfect for him. Of course they welcomed her with their typical loving, meddling ways, and I was reminded of just why I adore this large family. Then there's Daisy's family - once Anthony finds out how they're suffering, he steps up to help and proves to her why she's falling so hard. I love the NOLA setting, the Broussard-Leblanc clan (and the grandmas' insistence that their bits of magic help bring their grandsons love), and I can't wait for the final Leblanc brother, Beckett, to fall when The Single Dad releases next year.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
