Ever since Avery came home that awful day, her brothers Austin and Dallas, especially Austin, have been overprotective and overbearing about her love life. She can't date because everyone in their little town is scared of them. She's been having feelings for her friend (and theirs) Mateo, a hot, flirty firefighter, but of course he doesn't see her that way. Then her brother Austin's friend Levi comes back for a visit and she's attracted to him, too. Does she have to choose between them? Can she even be with two of her brothers' friends? She can, if they keep it a secret, and if Levi doesn't bolt as soon as he starts coming to terms with feelings.


Mateo has been in love with Avery ever since he moved to the small town of Whynot. He was warned off by Austin of course, but she's an adult. Perhaps now is the time he makes his move. Then he and Avery can both seduce Levi and the three of them can be together, regardless of Austin's unnecessary and unwanted overprotective nonsense. But things may not end up being that easy. Levi isn't supposed to be here in Whynot for long - has to get back to his hockey life far from here. Neither Avery nor Mateo would ever try to convince him to stay, but they can let him know he'll always have a home here with them.


Sweet, seriously steamy, and a little emotional - such a great why choose MMF story. Their D/s/switch dynamic positively set my Kindle on fire - whew! But their physical connection was balanced well with their developing emotional connection. Really the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was Austin's ridiculous overprotectiveness, it was taken much too far, and his apology wasn't enough for my taste. Aside from this, though, I really enjoyed reading these 3 falling in love.
