Review: But did you Die? by J.D. Hollyfield

But did you Die? by J.D. Hollyfield is NOW LIVE!

https://geni.us/ButdidyouDie

When Josie gets dumped, her three best friends come armed with tequila, chaos, and one bad idea: a spontaneous girls’ trip to Arizona.

But nothing goes as planned—not the Airbnb, not the hangovers, and definitely not the too-hot-to-be-real “pool boy” who keeps showing up at inconveniently shirtless times.

Between friendship meltdowns, margarita-fueled wisdom, and one dangerously distracting man, Josie’s weekend turns into a crash course in love, laughter, and letting go.

MY REVIEW

Josie and her girls are off on a road trip after another breakup with a guy who showed all the red flags. It's supposed to be a good time, a vacation, with NO GUYS, but she can't resist the local grump, Trevor. It's just a vacation fling, though. Or it's supposed to be, because he lives here and she doesn't. Plus, if she picked him, he must be yet another awful, red flag showing, guy too. There's no way this gorgeous guy who seems to actually see her is real, right?

For a novella, this feels so complete, even though the actual timeline is short. Josie is such a relatable hot mess, and her friends are absolutely hilarious, but the most loyal, supportive group of friends. And then there's Trevor...grumpy but a big ol teddy bear on the inside, with his own pain. When his backstory came out, it explained everything, and I wanted to give him such a big hug. I love this fun, spicy fling to forever story! I hope J.D. plans on writing Josie's friends' stories next *hint hint*.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
