A Hideaway Harbor holiday rom-com from bestselling & award-winning author Lydia Michaels!

Three billionaire brothers. One ultimatum. And a childhood best friend who just became the prize.

The Christmas rush began the moment Magnus Hawthorne informed his sons that his billion-dollar empire would come with one hell of a holiday clause—whoever marries first inherits everything.

Too bad they all want the same woman.

Wren Wilde, Hideaway Harbor’s unintentional cat lady, is sick of bossy Hawthorne men controlling her non-existent love life. After years of their territorial interference, she’s finally going after what she wants. But Greyson, Soren, and Logan have other plans—one of them must marry, and all three brothers want Wren.

With no clue how her boring life turned into a billion-dollar competition, Wren refuses to play along. But when three alpha males turn on the holiday charm and refuse to take no for an answer, her defenses crumble.

Wren must decide which brother wins, and this Christmas, her choice comes down to love.

“A steamy, small-town, holiday romance with an unforgettable love triangle that’s guaranteed to heat up readers’ hearts this winter!”

MY REVIEW

Wren grew up with three Hawthorne brothers - Greyson is the reclusive closed-off one who keeps everyone at a distance but has a truly loving heart, Logan is the bossy alpha, and Soren is the true golden retriever. Their moms were best friends and they have those memories, but they also have the rule - protect Wren and don't try to date her. Yeah. So she's lived her life in a vacuum of men being scared off by her protectors. She's done with this and wants to move one from it. But then their father's clause comes back to haunt them all - if they want to inherit the billion dollar empire, one of them has to get married. Who? And to whom? Well to Wren of course. But who gets her? They all want her and she cares about all of them. But really, she's only in love with one of them.

This installment of the the Hideaway Harbor holiday series feels emotionally heavier, but still has all the heart and lighthearted moments of the previous stories. Not only are all of the brothers and Wren still dealing with their moms being gone, but they are all also having to deal with who the true couple is, who is truly in love, and the hardest thing of all - their horrible father's manipulation of his sons, the burdens it places on them, and then his passing, leaving them with even more distress. But though he was completely awful, and in no way a good dad, his scheming had one unintended but positive consequence - it finally brought one of the brothers together with Wren. Their chemistry is delicious, and their falling in love inevitable. There's also all the fun, quirky residents of Hideaway Harbor and the magic of the season having its way with everyone, and last but not least, Wren's best friend, Jocelyn. She's an absolute hoot, I can't wait for her story.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
