One sexy silver Santa lookalike, plus one melancholy single mom, equals reluctant holiday roommates.

Fate might not dictate the weather, but it (along with a giant Saint Bernard) certainly plays a role when I’m stranded in this small town during the busiest month of my globetrotting, toy-industry year. With no vacancies at the local inns, a little matchmaking mischief lands me a room in a hesitant hostess’s home.

After receiving bad news, Lumi Snowe isn’t buying the hap, hap, happiest time of the year lingo. I’m out to prove every moment should be magical. From cookie-baking shenanigans to tree-decorating dances, we flip this lonely season on its five-pointed star.

There’s something special about the local postmistress. She leaves a stamp on my heart, and I don’t want to be returned to sender. However, I have obligations to keep and traditions to uphold, and love doesn’t make the jolly man-in-red’s list. Dear Santa, if only I could stay . . .

> If you adored Nick in Naughty-ish by L.B. Dunbar, you’re guaranteed to fall in love with his older brother, Saint.

MY REVIEW

Lumi's without her son this year for Christmas - things are looking a little melancholy without him, but then she picks up a driver stranded on the side of the road, and ends up having to offer him a room at her b&b when everywhere else is booked up. Is it possible Saint will fill up the hole in her heart this holiday season? Or make it worse when he has to leave, as he is only in town for a short stay?

Saint and Lumi are so sweet - the way he picks up on her melancholy over her son being gone, and cheering her up and then the way he swoons his way into her heart. I definitely swooned as much as she did when he started wooing her. The added twist of his secret identity and the way he made sure to show her how he really felt - I loved all of it, every magical, spicy, sweet word. This Hideaway Harbor series just keeps making my holiday mood happier with each book and I'm already reading and loving the next installment, The Holiday Grump by Enni Amanda.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
