Jack lives a life of family legacy and privilege, but he has no idea he's missing...something. Until he spies a beauty at the ballet, and something in him changes the second he lays eyes on her. He thought having the most intense night of his life with her meant something equally significant to her, but when she doesn't show up the next day, something in him collapses. Now all he can do is think about her and hope against hope he'll see Iris again. If he ever does, he's not giving her up again.

Iris has a secret - she takes time for herself just once a year to go to New York and watch the ballet. It reminds her of the dream she had to give up to save the family farm after her mother passed, and she's now too old to ever go back to that dream. Iris is amazing. Literally dropped out of her life to save her family's farm, never complained, never made her father and brother feel bad or let them know how much it hurt when they lost her mom and she had to take over, and lost her dream. Then she meets someone she had an instant connection with and her real life just sucked her back in, making her leave him behind. Thank God fate had something else in store for her and Jack. Though they came from different worlds, they made an instant connection and ended up being perfect for each other. Their journey may have been a bit painful, and Jack had a lot of growing to do, but their path is beautifully told, the chemistry is positively yummy, and my heart smiled at the end when they finally figured everything out and came together, and stayed together. Jack has some awesome friends, and one of them is getting his story next (The London Man) - I cannot wait!
