MY REVIEW
When Sharp wakes up in his truck the morning of his wedding with no idea how he got here, with no idea where his keys are, then is rescued on the side of the road by Jamie Montgomery, it's the start of a strong, if long distance, friendship. But now 6 months later, Jamie's back in town and that friendship is feeling a lot like more. She isn't sure she can stay, Sharp is definitely not leaving, and there's the little matter of the fact that Sharp was supposed to have been married by now.
Jamie and Sharp have such a strong friendship, and I loved reading as it slowly evolved into more. Sometimes friends are meant to be only friends, but Jamie and Sharp were truly destined to be much more than friends. Their personalities fit in their opposite natures, and I could feel their connection strengthening with each glance. The Montgomery clan is in town, sharp-eyed in looking out for their person, but also welcoming as they do, when love finds one of their own. There's a bit of suspense as Sharp tries to figure out what happened when he woke up with no memory of what had happened to him, and there's a lot of tension within the small town because of it. Friends to lovers has never been so sweet, so slowly burn yet delicious, and so much fun as Sharp and Jamie. Clover Lake is an entertaining little town, and I've loved being here. I know the last couple to fall is coming at some point, and I can't wait for it.
