Blair's been through a bad breakup when her bestie gifts her a trip to an island to get away. She's up for some fun in paradise, why not with the gorgeous older hottie she's matched with on an app? Well, for one, he calls her out for lying about her age and name, and keeps giving her mixed signals about whether he reciprocates her attraction. If he can get over himself, they can have some fun, and perhaps even more...
Tate's never forgotten his sassy, beautiful Blair from years ago, wishing she had reached out after they parted. The last place he'd ever thought he'd see her again was at his formerly estranged son's wedding, who happens to be her best friend, unknown before to any of them. Yeah.
Blair is sassy and determined to get Tate out of his head, she made me laugh, especially when Tate couldn't resist her sass and fell in love with her instead. These two are absolutely adorable with their snarky banter, delicious chemistry, and even more heart. The age gap is pretty large, but it really isn't that big of a deal because after their reunion, their life stages were much more in alignment, as were their maturity and emotional levels. The twist was definitely a surprise, but in a very good way, and made me love them even more.
