MY REVIEW
When Emma has finally had enough of her boss, Hollywood star Sebastian Blake, she quits. It's supposed to be a fresh new start for her, freedom from being on call all the time, at the mercy of Sebastian's whims. But...it's not exactly going to plan, because for some reason, Sebastian seems intent on convincing her to stay with him. And it even morphs into a fake engagement for a weekend. Now she has a decision to make - take the leap with Sebastian and the chance of a great love or play it safe.
Sebastian has long been keeping his feelings for his assistant Emma, a secret. He thinks they're friends though, which he thinks at the very least means she should give him a chance to persuade her to stay. But when she ends up in the hospital, all his feelings come out. Sebastian's not about to let his Emma go, even it means he has to trick her into a fake engagement to keep her close.
When this man finally had his epiphany, he was down sooo bad! He was definitely oblivious, and probably even a dick, but once he realized all the ways he had failed Emma, he wasted no time in redeeming himself. She made him work for her heart, and I was here for it. I love their slow burn with sizzling chemistry, and all the little ways (and big) they loved each other. I've been loving this series, and Emma and Sebastian just made me love it even more.
