He's a billionaire hiding at my bed-and-breakfast, pretending to be ordinary. I'm the woman who fell for every pretty word...

Carter Banks shows up at my struggling beachside B&B looking for a place to disappear for the summer. I accept his reservation because we need the money. As it stands, I have three months to save my family's legacy and no time for distractions. But the chemistry is off the charts, and we can't get enough of one another.

Between late-night meetups and early morning coffee runs, I'm falling for a man who feels like home. He helps me slow down long enough to remember what I'm fighting for and reminds me to have fun.

Everything seems like it might work out until the sharks start circling, both the corporate kind and my ex wanting a second chance. Somehow, Carter's the only one keeping me together. But when paparazzi photos and gossip blogs reveal the guy I've been falling for is actually Dyson Carter Banks—billionaire CEO and exactly the kind of man I swore I'd never trust—I'm left wondering if it was real or if I was just another summer crush.

There's only one way to find out...

Just Another Summer Crush is a small town summer romcom with a secret billionaire who falls first and harder. Grab some sunscreen and an iced coffee and get ready to live the sweet life in Coconut Beach!

MY REVIEW

Wendy had to come back to Coconut Beach to try to save her grandma's b&b, and it's been a lot. She's gotten offers to sell, and not for one second has she entertained them even though some days she wonders how she's going to keep it all together. She has no time for a man, for a relationship until a demanding, gorgeous guest checks in for an extended stay. She and Carter spark off each other from their first words, and a summer situationship is just the thing for these two who aren't looking for anything serious.

Carter's come to this small beach town to rest where no one knows who he is. He's not interested in anything but relaxing and trying to get his mind to a place where he can go back to work without being in danger of burning out. The manager of the b&b where he's staying has him interested immediately, but does she feel the same? They could have a casual summer fling without feelings, right?

For such a beachy, breezy read, Carter and Wendy's story packed quite an emotional punch. I love the whole vibe, the snarky, witty dialogue, and most of all, the emotional connection they develop, maybe without them knowing that's what they were doing in the beginning. Carter is a man of layers, seemingly grumpy and demanding, but caring and soulful deep inside. Wendy's the kind of heroine I love most - smart, sassy, and so freaking strong, with a guarded but huge heart. I knew she and Carter were going to fall, hard, and I adored every single word of their journey.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
