Review Blitz: Forever Yours by Joslyn Westbrook

FOREVER YOURS
Joslyn Westbrook
Release Date: May 19

AVAILABLE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED

From Joslyn Westbrook comes a steamy age-gap romance that floats between coastal serenity and New York energy—blending sizzling chemistry, banter, and a fling that refuses to stay simple.

We agreed this would be temporary.

Neither of us expected forever.

My goal is pretty simple this summer: house-sit on the beach for three quiet months and mend what’s left of my heart before starting a new job in New York.

What I don’t need is Knox.

The slightly older guy next door who’s brooding, guarded, and way too tempting—with a scowl that could melt glass and abs that ought to come with a warning label.

But when a small predicament, plus one very awkward naked moment, pushes our “only neighbors” thing into unexpected territory, sparks become impossible to ignore.

So we lay down a few simple rules:

No last names. No numbers. No strings.

A flawless arrangement…for about five minutes.

What begins as a summer-only fling soon feels deeper and far more dangerous to our hearts.

Because once summer ends, walking away isn’t as easy as we’d promised.

And when fate throws us back together, nothing could have prepared me for what happens next.

Warning: Forever Yours is packed with kitten chaos, coastal-town shenanigans, big-city complications, and enough heat to make you reach for a fan.

MY REVIEW

While housesitting for her bestie, Cami has the meet cute of all meet cutes with her hot, but grumpy neighbor, Knox. Somehow, though not exactly thrilled with each other upon that first meet cute, they end up adopting some adorable cats together, and becoming a neighbors with benefits situation. It's just for the summer, though, while she's here and he's taken himself out of town to give his ex the required time to get out of his house. But will their fling really stay as just fling? Asking that question may be moot when a twist reveals itself that could be too big to scale.

Knox and Cami's chemistry is positively delicious! Plus banter, adorable cats (yay Shadow and Stripe!), and close proximity all equal a fun, spicy fling to more story. I really like this couple, the twist made things more urgent, but in the end they got the sweetest ever after.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Title: The Challenge: A Single Dad Romance Author: Penelope Ward Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance Tropes: Single Dad, Second Chance, Forced Proximity Friends to Lovers, Small Town, Found Family Release Date: August 30, 2026 BLURB From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward comes a new, STANDALONE contemporary romance… Nothing says welcome home like accidentally moving in with your first heartbreak…and his little girl. Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
